FAQ

  • Q Do you sell parts for robots from other manufacturers?

    A
We only stock parts for SZGH-branded equipment. We don't supply parts for ABB, KUKA, Fanuc, or other brand robots.

  • Q How do I know what part I need?

    A
Send us your machine serial number (on nameplate) plus a description or photo of the issue. Our spare parts team identifies the correct part and confirms compatibility before quoting.

  • Q Can I buy non-original parts to save money?

    A
We strongly recommend against it. Non-genuine parts often have compatibility issues, lower quality, no warranty, and may void your machine warranty. The "savings" usually disappear after one or two failures.

  • Q Do you have parts for older / discontinued SZGH machines?

    A
Yes. We maintain spare parts inventory for all SZGH models from 2010 onwards. For very specific or obsolete components, we can remanufacture or recommend functional equivalents.

  • Q How fast can you ship a spare part?

    A
In-stock items dispatch from our Shenzhen warehouse within 48 hours. Express shipping (DHL/FedEx) reaches most countries in 3–7 days. Custom-made parts have additional lead time depending on complexity.

  • Q Can I do annual maintenance myself?

    A
Some tasks (oil changes, filter replacements) can be done in-house. Geometric accuracy verification and bearing inspection require specialized tools (laser interferometer, micrometers) and training — we recommend SZGH technicians for annual service.

  • Q How long does the spindle on a SZGH CNC lathe last?

    A
With proper maintenance, SZGH CNC lathe spindles typically last 10–15 years before requiring bearing replacement. Daily warm-up and consistent lubrication are the biggest factors in spindle longevity.

  • Q My robot reducer feels warm — is that normal?

    A
Yes. Robot reducers (gear units) typically run 40–60°C during continuous operation. Above 70°C indicates over-grease, under-grease, or excessive load. Stop operation and contact support if temperature exceeds 70°C.

  • Q How often should I change the way oil on my CNC lathe?

    A
Way oil should be topped up weekly and fully changed every 3 months (quarterly) for typical 8-hour shifts. For 16+ hour operation, change every 2 months. Always use the manufacturer-specified lubricant grade.

  • Q Is welding robot installation different from CNC?

    A
Yes. Robot installation focuses on anchor strength, reach envelope clearance, safety fencing (for industrial robots), cable management, and TCP calibration. We provide robot-specific installation guides and our engineers commission the welding torch / gripper integration.
